Creative Research into Sound Arts Practice (CRiSAP) is a research centre of the University of the Arts London dedicated to the exploration of the rich complexities of sound as an artistic practice.

 

Our main aim is to extend the development of the emerging disciplinary field of sound arts and to encourage the broadening and deepening of the discursive context in which sound arts is practised.

Research Feature: Berlin Lokal Zeit

From the first lockdown in spring 2020 Peter has been one of around 20 artists and scientists observing how urban space in Berlin is changing under the influence of the pandemic. The multi-layered project is entitled Berlin Lokal Zeit and is a collaboration with the CLB Galerie Berlin.

Member Profile: Natalia Kowalska-Elkader

Natalia Kowalska-Elkader, Ph.D., is a Visiting Researcher at CRiSAP and a radio researcher at the University of Lodz, Poland. She is interested in radio genealogy, experimental broadcasts, and the use of documentaries in sound art. her doctoral thesis was focused on artistic radio documentary and its history.
