In The Shadow of the Silent Mountain
The album "In The Shadow of the Silent Mountain,” published by the German record label Gruenrekorder, emerged from an intermittent three year project exploring Spring in the range of Southern Italian mountains located in the Picentini national park. Originally commissioned to contribute an installation work to the exhibition Viso Come Territorio in 2012, Angus' fieldwork continued for the next two years and lead to a chapter in the Bloomsbury book Sound Thinking: A Media Philosophical Approach, to an article in volume three of the journal Reliquiae, to a collaborative work in uniformagazine, performances in London and Cava De’ Tirreni and “In The Shadow of the Silent Mountain," the 55 minute album with fifty short texts and photographs.
