From October 2020, while retaining her position at UAL as Professor of Sound and PI of Listening across Disciplines II, Salomé Voegelin is representing the Professorship in Sound Studies with a focus on the history and theory of sound art at the University of the Arts Braunschweig, Germany.
Translating Ambiance, guest edited by Jordan Lacey, brings together creative practice articles with scholarly texts and reflections from the exhibition Translating Ambiance, held in 2019 at Yarra Sculpture Gallery Melbourne, on which this journal edition is based.
