Sounding the Archive Master Class
Organised by CRiSAP’s Louise Marshall (technē Innovation Fellow) and Dr Elma Brenner (Research Development Specialist) this mastercall is inspired by the Wellcome Collection’s unique and distinctive collections. Featuring ‘lightning’ research papers, performances and other contributions, it will consider methods that drawn from sound studies, museology and sound art practice, asking how they can activate understanding of historic material in new ways. With a Keynote lecture by Prof Salomé Voegelin, Prof Anna Barney, Dr Mark Peter Wright and Dr Sandra Pauletto (Listening Across Disciplines II).
